No matter which format you choose, the course covers the full marathon distance from Snyder to Leigh.

Team Relay

Divide the Ten Legs

Build a team of up to 10 people and divide the route however it works best for your group. Each teammate may complete one leg or take on multiple legs.

Lead & Follow Cars

Vehicles help mark the front and back of the event and keep organizers connected along the route.

Side-by-sides check every leg and exchange zone throughout the race.

A Ride When Needed

If a participant needs help—or a lift up a tough hill—the support crew is there. The goal is a safe, encouraging day for everyone.

The 10 Legs of "Old 91"

A challenging gravel route divided into ten legs. Relay teams hand off at each exchange zone, while solo participants continue through all ten legs to complete the full 26.2 miles.

Exchange-Zone Games & Team Challenge

While teams wait for their runner to complete a leg, they can take part in fun games and challenges at each exchange zone. Points add up throughout the race, and the team with the most points at the finish receives a prize.

Water, snacks, and course support are available along the route. Lead and follow cars travel with the event, and side-by-sides check each leg in case someone needs assistance or a ride.

Team & Solo Marathon FAQs

Can I complete the race by myself?

Yes. Solo marathoners complete the full 26.2 miles from Snyder to Leigh and may choose either the 7:30 AM walker start or the 9:00 AM runner start.

How many people can be on a relay team?

Teams may include up to 10 people. The route has ten legs, and your team can decide whether each person completes one leg or whether some teammates take multiple legs.

What if someone cannot finish a leg?

Course support is built into the event. A lead car, follow car, and side-by-sides monitor the route and exchange zones. If someone needs assistance or a ride, the support crew can help.

What are the exchange-zone challenges?

Teams can complete a different fun game or challenge while waiting at each exchange zone. Points are tracked throughout the race, and the team earning the most points wins a prize at the finish.

A variety of food trucks will be available during the post-race celebration. Food is available for purchase.

Games, Cornhole & Color Run

"Toss for a Cause" begins at 1:00 PM, followed by the Kids 1-Mile Color Run at 1:30 PM at the fairgrounds. Plus Ladders, CanJam, and Slime the Sheriff!
